Our Current
Project

1000 Trees Project
The 1000 trees project is a holistic design strategy based on the principles of Permaculture supporting marginal farmers in rural South India
It brings together farmers with small holdings empowering local communities and woman to re-establish farming on eroded, overgrazed, rainfall dependent, drought prone, barren lands, increasing biodiversity, food and fodder security.

Blackhills CSA
Blackhills CSA are a small group of people who are passionate about growing healthy, organic veg for
our local community.
They are guided by the defining values of principles of CSA’s as set out by the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Network UK Charter.
Their core values which align with OneNature-CommonWealth's objectives, are
People Care
A fair and steady income for the producer and a relationship based on trust with the
consumers/members. Access to healthy food at affordable prices.
Earth Care
A chance for the land and biodiversity to flourish due to ecological farming methods and
shared interest in these methods of production.
Fair Share
A share in the harvest of healthy (mostly organic or biodynamic), local and low carbon
produce; a connection with the producer, the land and each other. This includes a
commitment to support the farmer through both good and poor harvests.

Our vision for future projects is focused by the effects of climate change and changing weather patterns across the Commonwealth of nations.
Environmental Activist Elizabeth Wathuti's moving account of the situation in Kenya at the COP26 highlights the need to find and support projects that will support communities while the mitigation steps proposed at the COP26 take effect.

Vulnerable communities cannot wait for 2030. They need your support now!

We aim to select and support suitable projects in line with our mission of sustainable communities living in harmony with local ecosystems.
