One Nature Commonwealth are a group of professionals with a passion for environmental protection and sustainable living, working on a voluntary basis.

We aim to promote resilience to climate change through supporting sustainable agriculture and food secure communities across the Commonwealth.

Our Mission

To support socially and economically disadvantaged communities affected by climate change across the Commonwealth, to attain food security, relieve poverty and improve living conditions.

Through our work, we aim to encourage and enable sustainable agricultural practices as a means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.

Through the generosity of our donors and corporate partners, One Nature Commonwealth provide funds for projects with a focus on sustainable agriculture, soil regeneration and local community empowerment.

 

All donations go towards building sustainable communities and creating realities grounded in fertile soils.


ONC facilitate agricultural learning between the communities we support, with techniques adapted to local conditions.

DR ISHAK NADEEM

Chair

Dr Nadeem, an ex-GP and ex-Chair of South Reading CCG, currently works as an Occupational Health Physician with a desire to help and heal. He is a firm believer in the human potential to rise to challenges.

Trustee- Treasurer

Has his hands in the soil and feet in the sea. A gardener and sailor, he be.

MRS MONICA ATWAL

Trustee - Lead Fundraiser

​A Managing Partner of Clarkslegal LLP. Monica's family originates from Punjab, an area impacted by chemical agricultural practices and climate change. Monica is a long term volunteer with Wokingham Foodbank and an avid veg grower.

Trustee - Legal Advisor

Michael has been active many years promoting environmental awareness in the Commonwealth and potential trade and investment in the sustainability sector.

DR RICHARD GANTLETT

Scientific Advisor

A practising farmer and a research fellow in Agriculture at the University of Reading. Richard has a passion for soil regeneration.

MR BLAINE HOWARD

Marketing Advisor

Blaine has an interest in the furious phenomena of nature and meteorology, drawn to environmental issues by the increase in such events due to climate change.
